Cle Elum, Roslyn and Suncadia sit in the pines on the east slope of the Cascades, and we side homes, cabins and commercial buildings here with the snow loads and the wildfire season in mind. If the trim on your Cle Elum home is rotten at the sills, peeling on the sunny side or just too thin to look right, Yakima Siding Pro replaces it with the right material and the flashing it should have had in the first place.

Cle Elum gets several feet of snow, long freezes and a short, dry, sunny summer with a wildfire smoke season. Fiber cement and metal siding are the right call for fire resistance and snow, and cedar works well when it is finished and maintained. That sun is hard on trim in Cle Elum: paint fails, caulk shrinks and wood checks. Fiber cement trim is stable, rot-proof and takes paint well; PVC will never rot and is ideal at grade and around doors as long as it is fastened to allow for heat movement.
About Exterior Trim
Housing runs from early 1900s miners' homes in Cle Elum and Roslyn to cabins and second homes in the woods and large newer homes at Suncadia and along the Cle Elum River. Every trim project in Cle Elum includes rotten trim and sheathing repaired, flashing above every window and door, surrounds, corner boards and accents installed, joints sealed and finished for paint, and paint or a factory finish to match.
Yakima Siding Pro handles the soffit, fascia and painting that go with a trim project in Cle Elum, so the whole roof line and every opening is finished by one crew.
