Granger is a small dinosaur-themed town on the Yakima River between Zillah and Sunnyside, and we handle siding, trim, windows and paint on its homes, rentals and farm buildings. If you need new siding installed in Granger, here is how we work: we measure the house, check the sheathing, go over materials and colors with you, and give you a written, itemized quote before anything starts. Then one crew, led by Julio Reyes, does the work.

Granger is low, flat and hot in summer, with wind along the river and dust from the surrounding dairies and fields. Older vinyl and painted wood are what most of our repair calls here are about. We plan every Granger install around that exposure, choosing colors and materials that hold up on the sunny side of the house and installing with the gaps and fasteners the product needs to move with the temperature.
About Siding Installation
Housing is mostly 1940s through 70s single-story homes and manufactured homes, with newer homes along the county roads and dairies and farm buildings on every side. Most single-family siding installs in Granger take one to two weeks. Two-story homes, rot repair and combined window projects take longer, and you get a written schedule before we start.
We also handle the rest of the exterior in Granger: soffit and fascia, exterior trim, doors and windows, roofing and exterior painting. Many of our homeowners do siding and windows together so the openings are flashed as one system.
Our siding installation work in Granger covers Downtown Granger, Hisey Park, Bailey Avenue, Highway 223 and the rest of the Granger area. Granger is about twenty minutes from Wapato.

It depends on the size of the house, the material, how many stories and how much trim and repair work goes with it. Vinyl is the most affordable, fiber cement and James Hardie are mid-range, and cedar costs the most. Every Granger quote from Yakima Siding Pro is free, written and itemized.
For most Granger homes we recommend fiber cement. It handles heat, sun, freeze and wind better than anything else and needs very little maintenance. Quality vinyl is a strong budget option when it is installed with proper expansion room.
