Terrace Heights is the bench east of Yakima across the Yakima River, and its sun-facing slopes and view lots are some of the hardest on siding in the valley. We re-side and repair homes from Keyes Road up to the top of Terrace Heights Drive. Yakima Siding Pro repairs and replaces soffit and fascia in Terrace Heights in fiber cement, aluminum, vinyl and wood, usually as part of a siding project and often on its own. Fascia is the board along the roof edge that holds the gutters; soffit is the underside of the overhang that closes the eave and ventilates the attic.

Most Terrace Heights homes face south or west with nothing to shade them, so paint, vinyl and caulk fail on those walls years before the north side. We plan material and color around that exposure. On Terrace Heights homes the fascia behind the gutters is often the first wood on the house to rot, because every overflow and every ice dam soaks it. We replace it with solid lumber and a rot-proof fascia board and rehang the gutters on wood that will hold.
About Soffit & Fascia
Terrace Heights is mostly 1970s through 2000s homes on the bench, from ramblers and split-levels near the river to larger two-story view homes higher up, with newer construction still filling in. Soffit and fascia are replaced from below and do not require roof work in Terrace Heights, though we check the drip edge and first course of shingles while we are there.
If the gutters on your Terrace Heights home overflow or sag, we fix the fascia behind them and rehang or replace the gutters at the same time.
